UPPER MICHIGAN - The Michigan Senate passed bills that would add Corrections Officers and others to a pension program similar to the plan provided to the Michigan State Police Troopers.  Similar bills passed the senate and house in the past but were vetoed by Gov. Whitmer due to technical issues. These bills differ from past attempts as they add other employees, like conservation officers, to the pension program.
