ESCANABA - A fire severely damaged part of the Bonifas Arts Center in downtown Escanaba late last night.  Escanaba Public Safety they were called to the center just before 10:30 last night for a fire alarm. Fire was contained to the attic of the center’s theater.  No injuries were reported.  Lightning is a possible cause.
