PENCE - St. Maud’s in Pence will host a two-day Beltane festival and its first official open house to celebrate the May 1 start of summer. President Karl Zinsmaster invites the community to Friday night festivities featuring a bonfire, maypole, and a community meal. The event runs Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 12-5 p.m., including a silent auction and kids’ craft mart to benefit the school.
