MADISON - The Wisconsin Senate has passed a bill to extend Medicaid coverage for moms from 60 days to a full year.  The bill applies to mothers who already qualify for Medicaid.  Wisconsin is one of only two states that doesn’t offer a full year of Medicaid coverage to certain low-income mothers after birth.  Senators voted 32-1 on Tuesday.  The next step for the bill is a vote on the Assembly floor.
