GLIDDEN - The Glidden Area Ambulance Service, a nonprofit, has received a USDA Community Facilities grant of $47,515 to replace its 1998 ambulance. In a press release from USDA Rural Development Wisconsin State Director Andrew C. Iverson, the investment, backed by the Trump administration, ensures "expert medical care" for the over 1,175 residents across the 285 square miles served, including parts of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. USDA Rural Development's Community Facilities Programs fund essential rural public services and infrastructure.
