IRONWOOD – The state average gas price is slightly higher this week.  AAA of Michigan reports drivers are now paying an average of $3.15 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. That puts Michigan level with the national average at that price, that price is still 45 cents less than this time last year. In Upper Michigan, the lowest average is in Houghton County at $2.96 per gallon. The highest is in Ontonagon County at $3.29.  Ironwood prices at $3.07 this morning.  Gas prices lower in parts of Northern Wisconsin at $2.85.
