IRONWOOD – City of Ironwood personnel began flushing water mains during the overnight hours for Area 1 in the city which includes area north of US-2 from Lake Street east to Roosevelt Street.  Overnight tonight for area 2 will be flushed which includes areas north of US-2 from Lake Street west to the Gogebic County Fairgrounds.  Water main flushing may lead to discolored water during or immediately after the flushing.  Bottled water is available at Ironwood Public Safety for anyone that feels they need it.  Flushing will be taking place in various locations throughout the city all this week.
