ASHLAND - Xcel Energy has launched a live webcam offering the unique opportunity of observing peregrine falcons as they nest and raise their chicks on the shores of Lake Superior atop the Bay Front Power Plant in Ashland. Three of the birds have already arrived and have set up house, including “Scottie” from the U.P., returning to the nesting site for the last two years. The camera is part of Xcel’s commitment to environmental education and is one of several the company has installed throughout its multi-state service area. To keep an eye on Scottie and his eventual partner, visit https://www.youtube.com/@XcelEnergyBayfrontFalcons
