IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP – As snow and ice pushed across the region yesterday nearly 1,000 were without power in Ironwood Township yesterday.  At around midday yesterday those in Norrie Location of Ironwood reported hearing a loud bang coming from the Norrie Location substation.  Xcel crews had power restored to those affected in the township within a few hours.  The Xcel Energy power outage map not showing any power outages in our region as of 7:00 this morning.
