N. WISCONSIN - WisDOT has imposed emergency legal weight limits on State Highway 70 between County Road GG near Loretta and State Highway 13 near Fifield until the expected late spring/early summer 2026 resurfacing project. Vehicles are restricted to a maximum of 80,000 pounds and all overweight permitted loads are banned, except those with raw forest service permits, though voluntary compliance is requested from those RS carriers to minimize road damage.
