MINOCQUA — Governor Tony Evers has approved a $1.2 million plan to update a stretch of US Highway 51 in Minocqua.  The stretch is from the Minocqua Lake Bridge to Front Street. The construction will consist of updating pedestrian road ramps, pavement markings and deteriorating concrete.  Work is estimated to begin on March 30 and completion is slated to be October 9.
