N. WISCONSIN - Minnesota and Wisconsin National Guard members are serving in the Middle East right now.  The Minnesota National Guard confirmed that more than 250 of its members are currently deployed there.  That includes some guardsmen from Duluth’s 148th Fighter Wing.  During the Pentagon briefing yesterday, defense leaders said Wisconsin Army National Guard members are also operating in Kuwait and Iraq currently.
