IRONWOOD - The city of Ironwood pulls the plug on an Ironwood Baseball Team lease agreement.  In a press release yesterday afternoon the city says they send notice of termination of a 12/23/24 lease agreement, which would have let the Ironwood Agates play on Randa Field.  The press release states that the City is not comfortable that the work that needs to be performed on Randa Field could be designed, contracted, bonded, insured, and completed in time for any portion of this baseball season to be played at Randa Field. The press release continues saying that If USBC is still interested in discussing future seasons under a separate agreement, the City of Ironwood would entertain a different agreement and construction schedule.
