BOULDER JUNCTION - The Boulder Junction Winter Park in now closed for season.  The park board said consistently warmer temperatures and increasing sun exposure impacted ice conditions at the community ice rink and Glide Skating Ribbon. The decision was made to ensure skater safety and preserve park facilities.  The winter park welcomed residents, seasonal property owners and visitors from across the region this season. The park board said families gathered, children learned to skate and neighbors connected around the fire feature.  Planning and evaluation for the 2026-2027 season are already underway.
