IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP - Work on restoring Copper Peak to be able to hold ski flying competitions once again is expected to begin in May.  The physical work is expected to begin on May 12 with plans for a groundbreaking ceremony in the works.  Initial funding of $20 million for the restoration efforts is coming from the State of Michigan via the American Rescue Plan Act the rest through fund raising efforts.
