BESSEMER - Another arrest has been made related to a large drug bust made the Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotics team or GIANT in October. Seven people were arrested on multiple charges then, and according to Lt. Matthew Sterbenz, the leader of the task force, Timothy Davis Russ, 53, of Wakefield was arraigned in Gogebic District Court in Bessemer on possession, possession with intent to delivery and maintaining a drug house among other charges. More arrests in connection with the October arrests are anticipated. Lt. Sterbenz encourages residents to report any suspicious activity and ask that the information be relayed to the GIANT team.
