PARK FALLS - A 50-year-old Park Falls man has been found guilty of shooting and killing his on-again-off-again girlfriend.  Christopher Dyer agreed to the terms of a plea deal yesterday morning. He pleaded guilty to first-degree intentional homicide, avoiding a jury trial.  An investigation began on April 13 after a neighbor called 911 to report gunshots on the 600 block of 2nd Avenue North in Park Falls. The person went outside and saw a woman lying in the grass. The man told police the woman appeared to be breathing. That’s when he said Dyer came out of the home, stood over the woman, and fired the gun.  Dyer then left the scene was located and arrested 40 miles away in Minocqua with blood still on this clothing.  An autopsy report showed the woman was shot four times before her death.  The victim was granted a restraining against Dyer 15 months prior to the shooting.
