VILAS COUNTY — Vilas County Snowmobile Trail System opened at 8 a.m. this morning.  Riders are advised to exercise caution as trails are in early season conditions.  There are more than 500 miles of snowmobile trails in Vilas County maintained by volunteers snowmobile clubs.
