WASHBURN - The Washburn Chamber of Commerce is once again holding its annual Holiday Flower Fundraiser. The event, co-sponsored with Superior Floral hopes to raise enough money this year to cover the cost of giving floral arrangements for more than 200 residents in local care homes. The tradition of taking flowers to those in long term facilities started during COVID and has continued due to its popularity. Each arrangement is $25 to create and deliver. Donations will taken through the 16th. Donations for arrangements can be made at washburnchamber.com, Superior Floral and the Neighborly Bar in Ashland.
