GOGEBIC / ONTONAGON COUNTIES – The Firearm Deer season ended yesterday in both Michigan and Wisconsin.  In Gogebic County updated harvest totals so a total of 283 deer this season, 275 antlered and 8 antlerless, that’s 19 deer harvested for Gogebic County over the weekend according to the DNR website.  In Ontonagon County 500 total deer harvested 474 antlered and 26 antlerless.  A total of 38 deer harvested over the weekend.  Michigan hunters are reminded to report deer kills to the DNR on their website or through the DNR app if they haven’t done so as of yet.  We are still waiting on deer kill information for Wisconsin Counties in our listening area from the Wisconsin DNR.
