IRONWOOD – Pump prices lower to start the holiday week.  Gas prices in Michigan are down 12 cents from a week ago.  Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.01 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. That price is 17 cents less than this time last month and 18 cents less than this time last year. The national average sits slightly higher, at $3.06 per gallon.  Around Upper Michigan, the lowest average is in Menominee County at $2.54 per gallon. The highest average is in Mackinac and Schoolcraft counties at $3.20 per gallon. Ironwood prices in the middle this morning at $2.91.
