IRONWOOD – The Christmas season is officially underway with the Jack Frost Tree lighting last night.  The tree lighting also marks the beginning of Ironwood's Jack Frost Festival of Wintertime Events.  Ironwood Mayor Kim Corcoran provided some great words that pointed up the value of this great Ironwood "start of winter" tradition.  The Our Lady of Peace Church Choir sang Christmas carols.  This wintertime event is supported by the Ironwood Chamber of Commerce.  Jack Frost Events and activities continue until the end of January.
