SAWYER COUNTY – The Sawyer County Sheriff's Office in Northwestern Wisconsin responded to 3 structure fires within 2 hours of each other Monday.  According to the Sheriff's Office the first fire call was reported at a home in the process of being built at 4:02 in the morning in Radisson, the second 8 minutes later at 4:10am at a home in the town of Meteor the 3rd at 6:02 am, at the Birchwood American Legion Post in the town of Edgewater.  None of the structures were occupied when the fires started.  The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation is currently investigating the cause of the fires and are asking for the public’s assistance.
