UPPER MICHIGAN – The Firearm deer season started at sunrise at 7:04 this morning. The Michigan DNR has safety recommendations, rules, and regulations hunters need to understand before heading into the woods.  Weather is going to remain above freezing for the first part of this year’s hunt with highs in the mid to upper 40s in the Western U.P. with rain and snow expected for the middle to the end of next week.  Hunters will be in the woods from sunrise to sunset through November 30th.  Wisconsin Gun deer season starts on will start a week from tomorrow on November 23rd.
