IRONWOOD – Strong winds across the Western U.P. resulting is power outages.  Reports of power outages scattered across the Gogebic Range from Birch Hill to Marenisco south to Mercer.  Wind Advisories are in effect.  Wind guts as high as 40 miles per hour being reported this morning.  Winds are expected to die down this afternoon.
