IRONWOOD - The Gogebic Community College Board of Trustees heard the 2025-26 College draft audit report from Rehmann Robson LLC of Lower Michigan at their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday. Stephanie Innes-Kitto, GCC Finance Director say “While the final audit report has not yet been issued, Rehmann presented and expects that the College will receive an unmodified opinion on its financial statements upon finalization. This is the highest-level of assurance (clean opinion) that can be placed on the financial statements based on the audit.” Also during the meeting the 2026-2027 Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams were introduced along with the head coaches, Denver Sharrow and Ward Helakoski.  The college has reopened the application phase of the Dean of Students search.
