ONTONAGON - The Ontonagon Volunteer Fire Department put out a barn fire Saturday night. The call came in around 9:30 pm and when the crew arrived on the scene to find a 24×24 full involved. Firefighters were on the scene of the fire for almost three and a half hours putting the fire out and searching for hot spots under the metal roofing of the building. Engine 18, Tanker 17, Rescue 1, the wildland truck and the equipment van were all used to fight the fire.  The exact location of the fire was not disclosed, the cause is under investigation nobody was injured.
