IRONWOOD - The price of gas is back on the rise to start this week, up 29 cents from a week ago.  Michigan drivers are paying an average of $3.08 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. That price is nearly the same as it was at this time last month and at this time last year.  With this latest surge in price, Michigan is once again higher than the national average, which sits at $3.05 per gallon.  The lowest average is Iron County at $2.84. The highest average continues to be in Mackinac County, which is now at $3.36 per gallon.  Ironwood prices at $3.11 per gallon this morning.
