LAC DU FLAMBEAU - A head-on collision in Lac Du Flambeau between two motorcycles has left one person dead and two others injured. The accident occurred Friday evening just before 9 on County Highway H near Sundance Trail in Lac du Flambeau. Two dirt bikes were headed in the opposite direction when they ran into each other. One of the people who called 911 was an EMT and was giving emergency aid when EMS arrived. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, another was taken to Howard Young in Woodruff and was then flown to Aspirus Wausau. A third person was treated and released from Howard Young. Lac du Flambeau Police and the Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating the crash.
