UPPER MICHIGAN - Two Michigan ski resorts, ABR Ski Trails in Ironwood and Mount Bohemia in Lac La Belle, are again nominated for national awards by USA Today and 10Best, after securing top ten spots last year. Public voting is now open to help them reach number one. ABR Ski Trails, a 30-year-old Nordic skiing center in Michigan’s Big Snow Country, is nominated for best cross-country ski resort. It offers over 60 miles of cross-country and 10 miles of snowshoe trails on 1,100 acres along the Montreal River. Mount Bohemia is a contender for best overall ski resort, known for its deep powder, long runs, and 900-foot vertical drop, benefiting from over 270 inches of lake-effect snow annually. It also features an on-site Nordic spa. Go to https://10best.usatoday.com/awards/best-ski-resort/ to vote. Voting concludes at noon on November 10.
