IRONWOOD / U.P. - Michigan’s No Kings movement is shifting from protests to voter mobilization, with 78 rallies and community events planned Saturday to encourage early voting ahead of the November 3 election. Upper Peninsula events include Ironwood, Hancock, Marquette, Iron Mountain, Escanaba and Manistique. Organizers say the nationwide effort will focus on voter registration and helping residents understand their voting options, without endorsing candidates. Statewide early in-person voting runs October 24 through November 1, with some communities starting earlier. Organizers say the goal is turning protest into political participation.
