IRONWOOD – The Government Shutdown is now in Day 7.  Denver Air Connection, which provides airline service to the Gogebic Iron County Airport says the shutdown will NOT affect their local services.  In a press release yesterday Denver Air says “Denver Air Connection will continue operations in communities if Essential Air Service funding lapses on October 12th  The press release also states all flights in Ironwood and in the Denver Air Service area will run on schedule.  Denver Air Connection provides daily flights from Ironwood to Chicago and Minneapolis.
