N. WISCONSIN – What’s going on around the region this weekend? The 63rd Annual Bayfield Apple Festival starts today and runs through Sunday, with a weekend packed with food and craft vendors, live music, a carnival, and a parade featuring the newly crowned Apple Queen. All local orchards will be open to visitors. Go to bayfield.org/bayfield-apple-festival for the full schedule.  Not to be missed, the 45th annual Cranberry Festival will be held at the Vilas County Fairgrounds on Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. Marsh tours are already underway, and the festivities go full swing on Saturday and Sunday, both at the Fairground and in the downtown area.  There are shuttles available from the Fairgrounds and Downtown Eagle River.  More info at eagleriver.org under events.
