VILAS COUNTY – The Vilas County Board voting against selling Riverside Park a parcel of green space in Eagle River behind the fairgrounds.  About 50 people came out against the sale yesterday morning.  The proposal to sell the park started in 2024 to raise funds for the county and to create more housing.  In the end the board rejected a motion to table the vote, instead voting overwhelmingly against the sale of Riverside Park with 16 against and just two voting for the sale.
