IRONWOOD / GOGEBIC COUNTY – Zeal Credit Union (“Zeal”) of Livonia, MI, announced yesterday that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Gogebic Range Bank following receipt of all required regulatory approvals. Effective January 1, 2026, Gogebic Range Bank officially became Zeal Credit Union.   Zeal now holds over $1 billion in assets with a total of 17 branches. Zeal has retained all the employees and all branches of Gogebic Range Bank.  Neil Beckman, former President of Gogebic Range Bank, is now a member of Zeal Credit Union’s executive leadership team. Customers of the former Gogebic Range Bank, who are now members of Zeal Credit Union, can expect continuity in day-to-day banking services. Over time, members will benefit from expanded access to Zeal Credit Union’s statewide network, enhanced digital capabilities, and member-focused products and services.
