MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin man accused of killing his parents and stealing their money to fund his plan to assassinate President Donald Trump is set to enter a plea deal. Eighteen-year-old Nikita Casap is due to appear in Waukesha County Circuit Court this morning. He faces multiple charges, including two counts of homicide, two counts of hiding a corpse and theft. Prosecutors allege he killed his mother and his stepfather in February 2025 and lived with the decomposing bodies for weeks before fleeing with $14,000 in cash, passports and the family dog. He was eventually arrested in Kansas. Prosecutors say Casap wanted to spur governmental collapse by killing Trump and possibly Vice President JD Vance.
