...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM CST/ THIS EVENING TO 6 PM CST/ WEDNESDAY now for our entire listening area...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 14 and 25 inches with the possibility of 20 and 30 inches or more for parts of northern Iron County. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph could lead to blizzard conditions.  Heavy and blowing snow look to begin impacting the western U.P. as soon as tonight. Snowfall could accumulate at 1+ inch per hour for several hours tonight over the western U.P., and with blowing snow further reducing visibility, traveling tonight over the western U.P. will be very difficult to impossible at times. Then we will have a break from the snow Thanksgiving and on Friday before more Lake effect snow and strong winds impact the region again this weekend.
