N. WISCONSIN – Yesterday the Chippewa Federation meeting took place at Legendary Waters Resort & Casino in Red Cliff in Bayfield County. Tribal leaders and delegates from across the region gathered to discuss issues affecting our region and across Turtle Island.  The Chippewa Federation says they meet regularly with a focus on protecting our natural resources, expanding economic and educational opportunities, language revitalization, increasing the level of health care, and furthering the political position of Tribes to ensure a quality of life that members, descendants, and future generations can enjoy.
