HURLEY – Hurley School warning of an email phishing scam.  The school says suspicious emails that appear to come directly from our school staff have gone out to the public the result of a staff member's email account being compromised.  Clicking on these attachments creates the greatest threat.  The school saying not to click on any documents or attachments unless you are 100% certain it's real.  You should maintain the mindset that the school will never email you to announce that you have won anything, and that there is never a 3-minute time limit to respond to a request sent from the Hurley School.  Also be aware of emails with Generic greetings like "Dear Customer" or "Dear User" and watch for odd phrasing, spelling errors, or poor formatting or unexpected requests for passwords, personal data, or payment.
