BESSEMER – After a systems failure last Wednesday the Gogebic County Federal Credit Union is back open today.  A failure with the credit unions processing partner took down the systems at the Gogebic County Federal Credit Union as well as other banking institutions nationwide which prevented credit unions members and staff from having access to accounts.  On Saturday the Credit Union reported the systems have been restored however home banking, and the mobile app was still not available but should be back up and running sometime today.  The Credit Union is open today and is urging patience as they are expecting longer lines and may have to make handwritten receipts as operations return to normal today.  No member accounts were compromised.  Settlers Co-op Credit Union in Ontonagon County was also affected by this systems failure.
