SAXON -  Enbridge plans a 1,500-foot temporary bypass around a Line 5 natural gas liquids leak near Saxon in Iron County. The pipeline was isolated and shut down after a parked semi rolled into a construction site on August 25th, hitting the exposed pipeline and causing the leak of an estimated 31,000 barrels of propane and butane. About 2,000 barrels remained liquid. Enbridge expects Line 5 to return to service September 12th, while crews remove the remaining liquids and prepare to test the soil.
