VILAS COUNTY - A 33-year-old Arbor Vitae man died in a motorcycle crash in Arbor Vitae early Sunday morning. The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call just after midnight, reporting the crash near Gross Road and Milton Lane. The caller stated the motorcycle was warm to the touch when they got to it, but no one was to be found in the area of the crash. A deputy responded and located the operator, who had died from injuries sustained in the crash. The man’s name is being withheld pending family notification. The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Woodruff Police Department, Arbor Vitae Fire/Rescue, Med 5 and the Oneida County Medical Examiner’s Office
