UPPER MICHIGAN - Labor Day weekend is expected to bring more people to the Upper Michigan from downstate.  The Mackinac Bridge Authority expected more than 25,000 cars crossing the Bridge on Friday and Sunday specifically, most of those going northbound on Friday and going southbound on Sunday.  If you plan to travel over the bridge, be sure you time your travel just right.  The Mackinac Bridge will be closed to private vehicles Labor Day from 6:30 a.m. until noon for the Labor Day Bridge Walk.
