VILAS COUNTY - The Vilas County Public Health Department is holding a back-to-school drive, collecting backpacks and other school supplies to help Vilas County families.  This is the first year for the back-to-school drive.  The department is accepting donations through September 1st. Those interested can drop items off at the Vilas County Public Health Department or the Walter E. Olson Memorial Library in Eagle River.
