GREENLAND - The Ontonagon Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 78-year-old man. Richard Joseph Schaefer was last seen leaving his home in Greenland Wednesday afternoon in a black 2004 Trailblazer with Michigan plates DV6226A. It is unknown where he was headed. Richard Joseph Schaefer is white, 5’9”, silver hair, dark eyebrows and silver moustache. He may be wearing glasses. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should contact the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Department or dial 911.
