UPPER MICHIGAN - The Upper Peninsula Honor Flight wants to recognize the women who have served by announcing a possible all female flight to Washington, D.C. The organization is seeking female applicants from any branch and service period for the special flight, which would be in addition to the regular spring and fall flights. Those who’ve been on a previous flight are welcome. U.P. Honor Flight President Scott Knauf hopes to schedule the all-woman Honor Flight for May of 2025. Anyone interested in applying for the all-woman or regular U.P. Honor Flight can learn more at uphonorflight.org.
