IRONWOOD - The Gogebic County Fair found success over the weekend at the Pat O’Donnell Civic Center in Ironwood.  Linda Nelson is on the Gogebic County Fair Board.  Nelson posted a video on Facebook thanking businesses and volunteers for their efforts in making this years fair possible, including building a temporary barn with water and electricity for livestock.  Last year, a fire damaged several buildings at the Gogebic County Fairgrounds. After last fall’s fire the future of the fair was put in question.  The Gogebic County Fair has been going on for more than 100 years and is expected to return back to the Gogebic County Fair Grounds on US-2 in Ironwood next year.
