WAKEFIELD – The Gus Macker Basketball Tournament kicks off today in Wakefield.  Nearly 130 teams have signed up, bringing players, families, coaches’ fans and vendors to Wakefield this weekend.  Be advised that M-28 between US-2 and Third Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic until Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Drivers are asked to follow all posted detour signs and remember that the detour speed limit is 25 mph.
