UPPER MICHIGAN - The Michigan DNR is preparing 126 properties for online auctions this August and early September. These surplus lands, including river and lake frontage and forested acreage, are located throughout Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, including a waterfront property on Duck Lake in Gogebic County (Lot #10050). Public land sales, allow these parcels better suited for private ownership to be offered to the public. The Gogebic auction is August 19th.
