UPPER MICHIGAN – The Michigan Department of Natural Resources will be raising state park camping, overnight lodging fees.  State Park modern and semi-modern campsites fees will Increase from $4 and $10 per night, depending on location and available amenities, State park overnight lodging Rates will range from $60 to $120 per night, with deluxe lodging priced at $160 per night, and Modern lodges with Bedrooms, fully furnished, full bathroom, will Undergo phased rate increase over next 2 years, which will result in nightly base rates of $236 per night for all locations by 2027. Some rates may vary due to increased occupancy.  New nightly rates are set to take effect starting Aug. 1.  The adjustment comes as the DNR tries to keep pace with fixed costs, like utilities, equipment replacement, and staff.
